Professor James Baker is CEO of Graphene@Manchester, overseeing the National Graphene Institute and the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre. After 25 years in industry, including as Vice-President of Technology Collaboration Programmes and Managing Director of the Advanced Technology Centres, he now leads the development of Manchester’s graphene industry ecosystem and its global commercial partnerships. A Chartered Engineer and Professor of Practice in the School of Materials, he is a Fellow of both the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Royal Society of Arts.
